ZAI ITXOITEN: Es una de las cuatro partituras de que consta la obra titulada «Gauaren zergatiaren bila«, escrita para SAA. Fue compuesta en 1987.
El texto está escrito por EDURNE MARTÍNEZ JUANABERRIA y es un poema en Euskera escrito en su día (1986) por una adolescente que ganó con ello el premio SATARKA de poesía. Este premio de literatura en Euskera se concede todos los años en Hondarribia, ciudad natal de su autora así como de Javier Busto. La canción tiene una dificultad media-baja y está escrita pensando en ser interpretada por niños, lo que no quiere decir que no puedan hacerlo coros de mujeres.
* La partitura incluye el texto traducido al castellano e inglés y como todas nuestras partituras en Euskera, una pequeña guía para ayudar en la pronunciación de este idioma.
* Está grabada en CD en 1996 por el coro femenino Kanta Cantemus Korua, fundado y dirigido por el propio compositor, Javier Busto. Dicho disco, cuyo nombre es «Musika: Javier Busto», contiene exclusivamente música compuesta por él para voces blancas.

ZAI ITXOITEN: This is one of the four scores that make up the work entitled “Gauaren zergatiaren bila” (“Looking for the why of the night”), written for SAA. It was composed in 1987.
The lyrics are written by EDURNE MARTÍNEZ JUANABERRIA. It is a poem written in Basque in 1986 when Edurne was only an adolescent. It won the poetry prize SATARKA. This Basque literature prize is given every year in Hondarribia, the city of birth of Edurne as well as Javier Busto’s. The song has a difficulty level of medium hard and it is written for children, but this does not mean that women’s choirs cannot perform it also.
* Spanish and English translation of the text is included for those who hardly recognize Basque language. Furthermore, a small introductory guide can be found in the score for a correct Basque pronunciation.
* This song has been recorded on a CD in 1996 by the choir “Kanta Cantemus Korua”, founded and conducted by the own composer, Javier Busto. The CD is available at the website and includes exclusively music composed by Javier Busto for female voices. Name of the CD: Musika: Javier Busto.
